Am I crazy to have a different perspective from the mainstream media on this issue???
We may call the situation the “Ukraine Project” or Operation Herpestidae (the family of mammals to which mongooses belong). The government of the United State of America and/or the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) put missiles in Romania, Hungary and Poland. They also built/upgraded/repurposed a “training” base in Poltava, Ukraine. According to the government of Russia, the base housed a number of “foreign instructors”, who were engaging activities which were aimed against Russia, so they carried out a missile strike. The strike made the mainstream news, but not the Russian reasoning for it.
The situation is eerily similar to 1962, when the government of the USA put Jupiter nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey. At the time the CIA also commenced a violent terrorist/sabotage campaign in Cuba, with the aim of overthrowing its government. This was called the “Cuban Missile Crisis. This time though the campaign by the government of the USA is a bit more covert. The government of Russia complained about it, noting their desire was the least to prevent Ukraine joining the NATO, so there would be no NATO soldiers and weapons next door to them.
This is of course just a theory. How likely it is I do not know… I can only hope there will be another Vasily Arkhipov, to stop a full-scale war from breaking out. An individual.
